Tech Thursday: Wunderlist

Ever feel like you can't quite seem to find the time to write out your to-do list and, more importantly, check it off? I was recently going through some of my tasks, and realized that some were missing from my to-do list. Given that I am always on the go, it's not always easy to jot down thoughts as they come to me - even with my list template which I print for the week and try to carry everywhere I go! So, I did what anyone in the 21st century would do - I downloaded an app for that! If you're feeling like you need an extra hand to try and juggle your daily tasks, I highly recommend Wunderlist. I downloaded this app on my iPhone (for free, I might add), and was instantly creating lists for different components of my life. Wunderlist is great for building lists and creating reminders but, what I really love about it, is the ability to collaborate with others. This takes the functionality from a standard iPhone or Android app to the next level. I am able to create a list that I can share with a colleague, and another list that I can share with my spouse and/or children. The possibilities are endless, as the app functions across dozens of different device types. Real-time additions and changes to lists are updated for everyone in the collaboration, too! As you go through items, collaborators can check off what's been done, and 'archive' those items. It's seamless! While I do still love paper lists (and keeping those organized on their own!), I do see the need and demand for electronic systems in today's society - and Wunderlist certainly provides a great opportunity for collaboration and organization.
