Getting Organized for Tax Time
Have you started trying to locate all of the necessary documents to file your taxes? A few receipts in your desk drawer? A few more on your dresser? What about that pile of 'stuff' on top of the fridge? Crammed in the dash of your car? You know the scenario. Now is the time you realize how disorganized your important, financial documents are. Filing our Income Tax Returns is generally not something we enjoy, however, if you are organized it can be a lot less painful and

Collecting Chaos
We all do it. We collect something. Pretty pillows? Anything with a cat picture on it? Cozy blankets? Mugs? Vases? Table cloths? Napkin rings? You name it, one of us collects it. Chances are, we've been collecting our whole lives without being aware of it. Personally, I was obsessed with Barbie Dolls and had to have each new one as it was available; and their matching outfits; and shoes; and purses. My brother loved toy cars. Didn't matter the style, colour, or mode

Kids' Room Chaos!
How many times have you spontaneously started break-dancing in the middle of the night as you tiptoe into your child’s bedroom to check on them? How about the ‘hop on one foot and hold your breath dance’? What about the ’hand over your mouth and try not to scream’ dance? Anyone who has stepped on a piece of wayward Lego knows exactly what I am talking about. How can such a tiny piece of plastic cause such excruciating pain? I honestly don’t know, but I do know it hurts -

Gardens and Garages
Crisp fresh air, cold noses, and warm fuzzy sweaters can only mean one thing – fall is here! I pulled on my rubber boots, grabbed a pair of gardening gloves and off to the garage I trotted to fetch the items I needed, confident it would only take me a few seconds to locate them. Admittedly,

Pegboard is your friend!
For those who aren’t familiar with the word pegboard, it is often described as "that thin wood with lots of little holes that holds hooks." It used to be found mainly in the basement where tools and small packages of screws would be hanging on it from a hook, or out in the garage with an assortment of lawn implements attached to it with bungee cords.
